Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy explains how RMG International for Trade and Investment (“RMG”, “we”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use this website. It is written to comply with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
01Information we collect
When you send an enquiry through the contact form we receive the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, enquiry type and message.
Like any website, our servers also record limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to keep the site secure and working.
02How we use it
We use your enquiry details only to reply to you, to handle the request you made and, where you are a business partner, to manage our relationship with you. Technical data is used to protect the site against abuse — for example, to limit repeated form submissions.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or third-party advertising.
03Legal basis
We process enquiry details on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business requests. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
04Sharing
Your enquiry is delivered to RMG's team through a secure email service acting on our instructions. We share personal information with other parties only where the law requires it.
05Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and any business relationship that follows, and are then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
06Cookies and embedded content
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a single flag in your browser’s session storage so the welcome screen is shown only once per visit; it is cleared when you close the tab.
Product films are hosted on YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you choose to play one. Once a film is playing, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
07Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. To make a request, email us; we will reply within the period the law allows.
08Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and enquiry data is handled with access limited to the staff who need it.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
